Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I am married to a beautiful man named JP and a frightened father Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I write about my experiences- the highs the lows and all between. My parents accompanied my family to America in the year 1990, at which point I was just a year old. I wouldn't be sharing my story with you today had my parents not worked hard and make sacrifices. So that they could give their children a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on my goals and worked hard in order to reach it. My goals were set: I would study at university, land an employment in a company then marry, and purchase the house. That was my ideal of what it would take to be successful. But the reality of life changed my ideas. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was a job I hated. Money and status didn't bring me happiness. I believed that I was living a solitary time to make a living. When I began to navigate my way towards a new career path, I discovered I was destined to work as a personal trainer. I was a fan of exercising, I enjoyed having fun and I enjoy helping others. In 2014 I started my small business and this 2021 will see me celebrating my 7th anniversary. There are few Asian females working in the field. It is my goal to be a change maker in the industry to provide quality coaching to empower individuals to be healthier and happier them by creating the most sustainable life that meets their individual goals and needs. Additionally, I want to encourage people to pursue their desires and accomplish anything and everything they want to do in their life. My career exploded as I was enjoying the highest success in my entire life. But, my mom passed away at the same time that my professional life began to fall off. Her battle for 8 years with Scleroderma is over and she rests in Heaven. Her memory will forever be in my heart and my mind. It is amazing how life will teach us the exact instruction we require, even when we don't realize it. The loss of my mother changed me so much and I am convinced that she offered me a second chance at life. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. The time was right to go on into her new chapter, and my chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of being alive and in the moment. It's not that I'm just another number. My story is made available to me so that I may share with you my experiences and thoughts. It will allow you to feel secure knowing that you're not the only one. It is possible to accomplishing anything you wish and more. Therapy is necessary and normal. Health is the greatest riches. My hope is that you will live the life you want to live and have your end is without regrets as that's the only thing that we have to be confident about during this lifetime.
