Anya Volz hails from Vermont. She is now a New York City based comedian. All across America people have said that her comedy is amazing and funny, but not at all preachy. She's a writer contributor and creator of content for Riot Fest, The Hard Times, and Macaulay Cukin Bunny Ears. She was featured in BuzzFeed and Vulture, as well as at several national comedy festival including that of the New York Comedy Festival. A half English mixed with Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one in each parent's prior marriages. The family moved from Buenos Aires to Victoria, London at the age of six when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult and she didn't study English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet while acting in the school's productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to become an actress professionally began at a very young age.
