LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular basketball player. James has won four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the most amount of points scored during the postseason, second highest total career point total and seventh most career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was picked for an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He was the 3rd player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 through the year 2018. James was selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the first NBA player to reach 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed him as an NBA player of the year. He was a pre-profession player and picked to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft.
